Up-Lift are a 4 piece ROCK band from Manchester featuring Wayne Franklin on vocals, Richard Dixon on guitars, James Roberts on bass and Kevin Clark on drums. They are known for there incredible wall of sound style mixed with melodic harmonies and tight rhythm section, if you think you’ve heard it all you aint heard Up-Lift yet.

We have been going for around 9 months and have an awesome list of venues under our belts, such as: the Night and Day Café, the Dry Bar, the Manchester Carling Academy and the Cavern Club in Liverpool. There are many bands out there (signed and unsigned) that have been around for years but have not managed to get to the places that we have in this short amount of time, so we must be doing something good.” Richard Dixon

Saw your cheeky little message which worked as it drew me to listen to your music. I like the energy of your music and I believe that if you continue to evolve you could become a force to be reckoned with.
Making the transition from playing live even in decent venues to selling records in the current world where you've got to sell alot of cds to be viable to a label at the low prices at the present time is very challenging which is why we do things differently as a record label.
We tend to pilot artists and work with them for a while before we officially sign them.
As the world descends into financial meltdown we are thinking of teaming up a number of artists who say something ironic and with black humour about issues that effect people. Sort of the album to listen to when your fucked off just after your house has been repossessed!
We are working on alot more to give the idea a big profile.
Your song Debt Collector has the seeds of something great and and I believe I could produce it into a form that could really catch on.

I have written a song called Repossesed and you can hear a song called VATMAN on
yeah well, keep it up! And just keep focusing on making songs with impact, You should do a song where it shows the best of your guitarist, bassist and the drummer.
