US5 – seit langer Zeit sind sie die angesagteste Boyband in Deutschland und verzaubern die Herzen der Mädchen. Zehn Singles, davon neun Top 10 Hits, drei Alben und zahlreiche Auszeichnungen schmücken die Zeit der fünf Jungs. Schnell bewiesen sie mit ihrer vielseitigen Musik, dass sie keine One-Hit Wonder Künstler und seit fast vier Jahren vom Pophimmel nicht mehr wegzudenken sind.
Ihre erste Single „Maria“ belegte mehrere Wochen in Deutschland Platz 1 und es dauerte nicht lange, als Jay, Izzy, Richie, Mikel und Chris ihre zweite Single und ihr erstes Album nachlieferten. Auch „Just because of you“ platzierte sich erfolgreich in den Top 3 und ihr Ende 2005 erschienendes Album „Here we go“ war ein voller Erfolg.
Nach ihren nächsten beiden Singles „Come back to me baby“ und „Mama“, die sich beide ebenfalls einen Platz in den Top 10 sichern konnten, arbeiteten die fünf Jungs in ihrer Pause an einem zweiten Album. Im Oktober erschien dann ihre nächste Single „In the Club“ und im Monat darauf ihr Album „In Control“. Weitere Auszeichnungen folgten, die Jungs kletterten die Karriereleiter immer höher und bewiesen aufs Neue, dass ihre Vielseitigkeit eine Chance in der Musikbranche hat. Auch die weitere Single „One night with you“ stieg erfolgreich in die Top 10 ein. Selbst in Polen und Asien feiern die Jungs große Erfolge und erreichen Goldstatus.
Im Herbst 2007 verließ das deutsche Bandmitglied Mikel US5. Doch schon Anfang 2008 kehrten die Jungs mit einem neuen Mitglied, Vincent, zurück und bewiesen mit ihrer Single „Too much heaven“, dass sie noch immer das Potenzial zu einem Top-10 Hit haben und sich nicht unterkriegen lassen. Gemeinsam mit dem Ex-Mitglied Robert Gibb nahmen sie den ehemaligen Songs der BeeGees neu auf.
Bald darauf erschien auch ihre nächste Single in neuer Besetzung, „Round & Round“. Erneut ein Hit, der sich in die Top-10 platzieren konnte. Doch es gab einen weiteren Rückschlag. Chris musste aus gesundheitlichen Gründen die Band verlassen.
Zu viert veröffentlichten Vincent, Jay, Richie und Izzy ihre Single „The Boys are back“, die große Erfolge feierte. Disney wählte diesen Song als Titelsong für den berühmten Film High School Musical 3. Im November 2008 veröffentlichten die Jungs ihr neues Album „Around the World“ und zeigten, dass sie trotz der Rückschläge niemals ans Aufgeben denken.
Und im November gab es dann die offizielle Bestätigung: Cayce Clayton rückt als fünftes Mitglied in die Band US5 nach und macht die Gruppe wieder komplett! Gemeinsam werden Cayce, Izzy, Jay, Richie und Vincent weiterhin dafür sorgen, dass sie die Herzen der Mädchen zum Schmelzen bringen!
US5-for a long time they are the hottest boyband in Germany and cast a spell over the hearts of the german girls. 10 singles, there of 9 top hits, 3 albums and a range of awards ornament the time of the boys. Quickly they show with their versatile music, that they are not a one-hit-wonder band and almost since 4 years it is impossible to imagine the publicness without them.
Their first single "Maria" is for several weeks the number one in the german charts and it does not take a long time till Jay, Izzy, Chris, Mikel and Richie deliver in addition their second single and first album. Also "Just Because Of You" places successful under the top 3 and their first appearing album "Here We Go" at the end of 2005 is a big success.
After their next two singles "Come Back To Me Baby" and "Mama", which also well- places in the Top10, the boys are working on their seconcd album. In october their next single "In the club" appears. Additional awards are following and they guys turn in a distinguished career and prove once more, that their versatility has a chance in the music industry. Another single called "One Night With You" goes up successful in the Top10. Even in Poland and Asia the boys celebrate big successes and outreach gold.
In autumm 2007 the german band member Mikel leaves US5. But at the beggining of 2008 the boys are complete again with their new member Vincent. A prove with their next single "Too Much Heaven", that they still have the potential for a Top10 hit and won't be licked. Together with the ex-member Robert Gibb they record an one-time song of the BeeGees.
Shortly their next single "Round And Round" appears in a new lineup. Again a hit, which well- places in the Top10. However the boys have got to receive a setback, again. Chris has to leave the band for health reasons.
As a foursome Vince, Jay, Richie and Izzy release their single "The Boys Are Back", which celebrates big successes. Disney selected this song as title song for one of the most famous movies "High School Musical 3". In november 2008 the boys release their third album "Around The World" and show once more, that they will never give up, no matter how much setbacks they will still have.
Also, in november 2008 there is the official approval: Cayce Clayton moves up as the fifth member in the band US5, therewith the group is complete again! Cayce, Richie, Vince, Jay and Izzy will make sure together, that they stir the girls blood!
