Off-Killter formed in 2004 when Dre auditioned to be the lead singer in Ted’s band at the time, 2-Match-a-Girl. However, as the two worked on new material, they realized they had a brand new project on their hands.
Off-Killter played its first show in Milwaukee at Kokopelli’s, then hit the studio to lay down a four track demo. With the demo completed, Off-Killter began to actively search for gigs in and around Madison. A revolving door of supporting musicians ensued, with the rhythm section eventually evolving into John (formerly of 2-Match-a-Girl) on drums and Jim on bass.
In December 2007, Off-Killter began work on their first full-length album at Paradyme Productions in Madison. The self-titled debut album will be out early in 2008.
