MySpace a place for friends

Off White Lies sound like quite a few bands, some mentioned in our influences, some not. This is apparent from the outset. We try to make music that we like, and that is also slightly original sounding. We have four members currently, comprising Niall on the drums, Andrew on bass, Ross on guitar and Brian on guitar and vocals.

The Off White Lies first rehearsed in the summer of last year, with the aim of making noisy alternative rock, as an alternative to the alt-rock which has infiltrated the music scene of the day. With this in mind, the first few practices spewed out the Yes/No claviuses (title is related, the songs arent), with the rest of the songs following sporadically in between experimenting with drone and dirge type songs. After a couple of gigs, we went in to the studio to record a 5 track EP, which was recorded over 2 days. This unfortunately co-incided with the two days Brian had some weird illness which made half his face swell up and the rest of him be sick behind a bin. The EP was recorded nonetheless, with a modest opinion of this writer that is sounds damn good. Click Click.

To date, we have played a [few] gigs, with [] more planned, so please come along and catch us if you like what we do. We will also be trying to get into the studio to record a couple more songs, when this happens we will of course alert the myspace world.
