Influences
Growing up in the 70's, Glam Rock before aspiring to be a Teddy Boy. So classic 1950's Rock'n'Roll/Rockabilly rocked my world until the NWOBHM arrived in 1979.
Through that and later the 80's Sheppey/Medway band scenes, I became far more eclectic. Eventually taking in...DIY punk, 70's Prog/Kraut/Psych Rock, Trad English Folksong, 70's Folk-Rock, Southern Boogie, Folk-Blues, Old-Time/Bluegrass, 60's Freakbeat, 60's British Blues, 70's Essex R&B, 60's Ska, 70's Dub, Gothic,
Movie Soundtracks, Folksong/Oral Histories, Spoken Word, The BBC Radiophonic Workshop, The Goon Show and anything else eccentric or perverted that makes a sound.
Specifically?
What about Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Motorhead, Fugazi, Gene Vincent, Bo Diddley, The Deviants, MC5, Ozrics, Lieutenant Pigeon, Fairport Convention, John Lee Hooker, Mr Fox, Pink Floyd, Steel Pulse, Kate Bush, Dub War, Kraftwerk, Culture Shock, Alan Stivell, Vangelis, Twelfth Night, The Subhumans, Zodiac Mindwarp, Can, The Specials, The Damned, Focus, Atomic Rooster, Woody Guthrie, Paescod, Porcupine Tree, Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, The Orb, Marillion, Fields of the Nephilim, Lee Perry, Ennio Morricone, Incredible String Band, Groundhogs, Ian Dury, The Exploited, Mike Oldfield, Mike Harding plus classic (and now ressurected!) Sheppey band; All Flags Burn ...to name but a few (in spirit of, if not in practice!)

It has since come to represent the CyberSpace 'Shed' in which I potter with various audio-visual creative frustrations, deliberately using low end, domestic, retro, obselete or home made technology. All my current tinkerings are outlined below...

Hi Thanks for being our friend Do you love George Michael? Love Heavy Load (To find out about the movie about us please see www.heavyloadthemovie.com )
Hello! So many different musical styles on your player...great stuff! A real surprise!!! Wonderful that you sent a request! Best wishes, AGONY BAG/BLACK WIDOW/PESKY GEE!
I have fallen for your music! It is really quite intriguing!! Wow the 6 bars are darling and have a cool sound!! The Sonata autoharps are hard to find around here. I have 3 as well. One is an antique 15 chord Oscar Schmidt from the 40s (I think) its the first one I bought and it is in sad shape. The one I mostly play is a typical modern OS 21, and my prize is the one pictured my vintage 60s Sekova electric chromaharp. I love them!! Oh yeees I love messing with fx!!!! ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!
