Greyhounds are very docile, well-behaved, low-energy dogs that tend to sleep at least 18 hours a day. They are great for apartments and need only about 20 minutes of real exercise a day.
My dog, like many others, is a rescued dog, retired from a racing track. These beautiful, innocent, and loving dogs need good homes to live in, where they can forget about their former careers. Even the best racetracks do not make good homes for these poor souls, and, sometimes, abuse is part of a greyhound's racing life.
