In 2004 many people in the UK Garage scene started asking the question 'who the fuck is Oggie ?, especially after the success of the Alyus cover 'Follow Me' with Danny C, This was the question that came up when Oggie was interviewed by Radio 1xtra DJ Ritchie Vibe Vee, The garage version of Follow Me was an instant hit and turned Oggie into an overnight underground success.
Well Here I am, this is me, Some of you may know me cos currently i'm the artist behind a brand new night @ Ronnie Scotts Bar called 'The Soundtracck' where not only do we have live music but we show brand new indie movies from the hottest film makers in London. If your just learning about me, here is a little bit of my history. I released my first official solo single in 2006 on Vinyl called 'YOU' , feat a rap from my buddy GZ and was produced by me and Mystroe. The song did the damage on the garage scene got to NO.3 in the World Garage chart and really helped firm me on the garage circuit, it was a good year after that, I met up with ED Case and had my first i tunes release with 'All I Wanna Do' another track that took the garage scene by storm, SKT did a remix a year later and that mix reached the BBC 1xtra garage chart at no.4 and stayed in the top 10 for 8 weeks. When im not working on my own shit, I write with other artist, I have written tracks for and with R&B singer Davinah, known for hit 'Runaway' and I co wrote Melody's MASSIVE underground smash 'Boytoy'.
Right now I'm working on my debut album so stay tuned people cos I will be coming to a live venue near you , pretty soon!
