What I'm about -
I play local music, I love local music. This is a mixed-format show. What does that mean? I'm not restricted to any one genre of music. Meaning - I play all genres of music, as long as it's good, and as long as the artist has some major tie to New England (the band is based here, the drummer was born here, stuff like that.) What does that mean for you? That you hear the best variety of local music. I play more than what you hear on commercial radio's sad excuse for local music shows. (Admittedly, there is some overlap, I try not to, but I also try for a well-rounded show.) I give other artists a chance for airplay. That is what makes my show unique. Give a listen sometime. You won't regret it.

1. I really dig what you're doing, how do I send my music?
Send me an e-mail (lauren.617scene@gmail.com) and I will send you my current mailing address for press kits or demos, or you can send me mp3s. Be sure to do this every time as my address tends to change a lot (college student...)
2. Hi! I'm the publicist/agent/rep for Band XYZ, here is a press kit, I would love to set up an interview or in-studio performance!
Sorry. At this time I don't really have the time or resources to do on-air interviews, and I don't have access to a studio for "live" performances. RadioYou is still growing. I can't say that I will or won't in the future, but if you stick around, it could be. (Yes, I understand I did interviews in the past, but it was a special occasion and show, and it was a huge hassle to get done and edited for the air.)
3. I have a HUGE show coming up soon, can you give it a shout on the air?
YES!! All I ask is that you give me a heads up by e-mail at least 2 weeks in advance of the event. (Lauren.617scene@gmail.com) Remember to include all of the details. (Note: I won't give shouts to shows hosted by other radio stations, with the exception of WBOS. Think about it.)
