The idea for the name of the band came years ago at a high school camp of 9th grade where the guitarist and few of his classmates were called “The team of OH” (C2H5OH) by their chemistry teacher, the reason – they were drinking a lot.
Kiki (guitar) and Bambi (drums) decided to form a band with the same name – O.H. at the end of 2000 in Vidin town. Anton (bass) and Shtipkata (the Peg) (vocals) joined them as set the 9th of January 2001 as the band’s birthday. Then is the first OH “concert at the birthday of a friend in his flat on the 5th floor of a residential building. Since that the band has started steady rehearsals followed by many concerts in Vidin and also in other Bulgarian towns as Sofia, Pleven, Plovdiv, Asenovgrad, Varna, Burgas, Haskovo, Sevlievo and others.
The first neo-metal album called “Will You Make It...?!“ was recorded in 2001 containing 9 authorship songs and 2 instrumentals. Since than till to 2006 the band went through many style and also band members’ changes.
The band moved to Sofia at the end of 2005 with a new vocal Joro (ex. Dreadlockz & Good Food). In 2006 they recorded a second demo album in a harder style called “Under This Pressure“, containing 11 authorship songs.
Right after the finish of the album the band joined one more guitarist Naso (ex. Reactija & Underdogs) and a new bass player Danyo (ex.Anamnasia) joined in 2007. With these members the band has played on festivals as “Koko Rock Fest”2007, “Spirit of Burgas”2008, and “East Noise Fest”2008 and others.
The band changed the bass player again with Ivo (I.T.S.I) at the end of 2008. The present members of O.H. are Bambi – drums, Kiki – rhythm guitar, Naso – solo guitar, Ivo – bass and Joro – vocals. They recorded the first official album which will be out at the end of this summer. The album is called “Justice“and contains 11 authorship songs in a hard trash metal style. Many surprises as new videos and performances are coming out!
