The band was formed in 2007, all the way from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and have been actively gigging around the country circa 2007 till end of 2008 including series of tours in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. Consist of 3 friends; Myo, Amber and Naem, the band plays mixture of rock tunes with punk, pop, electro, post-hardcore and experimental elements as the band would like to go as versatile as the music can be. In 2009, Myo the frontman went to pursue his MBA studies in Switzerland but he still continues the effort to share Oh Chentaku music to different crowds; Zurich, Manchester, Dublin, London, York, Amsterdam, Lugano, Tokyo and Barcelona. On top of that, the band released 5 official records and few unreleased singles. Recently in late 2011, the band was crowned as Champion of Battle of the Indie Bands GIG organized by TV9 Malaysia and walked away with RM8,000 cash prize. From there, they have been actively gigging again and will be recording their next debut album this month as well as participation in bigger festivals such as Rockaway Festival, Gegey Festival and more, in conjunction with the debut album launch planned. The band have been chasing their dreams to share the music with everyone without signing to any major record labels and currently endorsed by local and international brands.
