~YVES~
Having moved to Los Angeles from his native Casablanca , Morocco at the age of 9, Yves started his music career as a classical violinist in city orchestras in Southern California at the age of 10. He attended Bancroft Junior High School in Hollywood , California . Bancroft was well known for having been attended by world renowned musicians such as Michael Jackson and members of Red Hot Chili Peppers. This environment prompted Yves to explore musical genres outside classical and started attending guitar classes at the age of 11. Yves’ family then moved to Miramar, Florida where high school orchestras were non-existent, prompting Yves to drop his efforts to develop his violin skills and focus on his guitar skills. During the later part of high school and early into the college years, he played the South-Florida club circuit in rock bands, including a few years exchanging guitar licks with actor Johnny Depp in a band named Flame.
Upon graduating from college, Yves moved to Columbus , Ohio to pursue a career in engineering while still developing his guitar skills by recording original music in a home studio. Yves’ management position with a local company has given him the opportunity to travel all over the world, which further enhanced his appreciation for all music genres – Specifically Middle Eastern, Caribbean, Central African, and Latin American. Influences from these genres can be heard in his original music.

~JIM~
Jim was born and raised right here in good ole’ C-Bus, OH. After high school, Jim quickly grew tired of the “west side” and joined the USMC, which transplanted him on the “west side” of the country. While in the Marine Corps Jim was fortunate enough to travel around the world experiencing a variety of different cultures. The one thing all these cultures had in common…music. More importantly, drums!!! Jim has been playing the drums for 7 years on an actual kit, but has been playing on everything from table tops to dashboards for about 20 years. Anyone who spends any amount of time with him will tell you, he cannot stop “tapping” on any inanimate object for longer than a few seconds and is usually driving anyone within earshot crazy with this obsession.
Jim previously held down the drumming duties for rock trio Boxer Rebellion playing a number of shows around Columbus for the better part of 3 years including being fortunate enough to open for the Gin Blossoms in front of thousands of fans at Pickerington’s Violet Festival in July 2005. Jim plays Tama drums with Zildjian Cymbals and his influences include, Danny Carey, Carter Beauford, Travis Barker, Tre Cool, Lars Ulrich, Taylor Hawkins, and David Silvera to name a few. See Jim at the next Oh Face show, be ready to rock out and watch for low flying drum stix!
