the story
Witnessing many a friend and loved one succumb to the wave of panic and eventual spread of the virus; a call to action was made by "Tony Chicago", "Wisconsin" and "Yoda Minnesota" in an effort to combat the slow-moving, soulless horde which had begun sweeping across the nation - devouring any living thing in its path, leaving only destruction and chaos in its wake.
Throughout the course of the winter of 2008 Oh How It Ended spent many a night barricaded in their basement bunker - drinking Kronenbourg and various well-aged spirits - devising numerous contingency plans; until it was decided (in a rather drunken haze) that the best way to combat "the problem" was to face it head on before there was no longer any chance or hope of survival.
In March of 2009 they packed up their minivan with their remaining supplies, broke down the barricades which had held them back for so long and took to the roads which crisscrossed southern Ontario; dispatching the infected at every stop along the way.
Eventually finding more survivors and recruiting them as "soldiers" in the on-going "War of the Damned", Oh How It Ended would soon have a strong enough following of supporters to eradicate "the problem" in any city or town they stopped in. The crowds were no longer just blank faces, empty stares and shuffling feet. They began showing signs of life once again, and the occasional cheer of gratitude and joy could be heard amongst the sounds of the undead.
A full year after taking to the road, Oh How It Ended is still busy tracking the spread of the sickness and fighting off more ghouls than ever before.
They may have sheer numbers, but we have the button, and it only takes one thumb to push it...
Launching their next battle plan - code-named "~Privateers~" - in early 2011 should prove to end the epidemic once and for all - freeing the souls of the infected, letting them once again feel the rhythm and flow of the Earth. ..
