About me: OHIO TRIP is for anyone who has politely endured a vacation slide show and secretly wished for something more. In this one-woman play, Elizabeth Cobbe shows off slides from her recent travels to Cincinnati, Ohio, when it becomes clear something very strange took place.
A trap door inside a former speakeasy opens to reveal a mysterious forest with characters from a modern-day Alice in Wonderland. Soon a frightening chase ensues, and Elizabeth must find her way through an oddball reality where she doesn’t belong.
More than 100 slides accompany the show as “proof” of the narrator’s journey.

Billy Dave Wammo Wammo, of the Asylum Street Spankers and former member of several Austin Poetry Slam teams, is bringing his country band into our midst. The quirky rocker has been an important part of both Austin music and Austin poetry and we love him, yes we do.

Gary Graves One of Austin's best kept secrets, Gary Graves can only be described in my mind in this way: THAT MAN HAS DUENDE! www. myspace. com/garygravesmusic
Shane Bartell Make or break, still one of my favorite Austin musicians and best friends. He'd say he's writing folky pop music, and what's wrong with that. I'd say he takes lounge music to a campfire and makes everyone love it. Decide for yourself.

The Oliver Steck Show The man, the legend, the absolute hilarity! Oliver has graced more large stages than he or I can count. I believe he appeared no less than three times on the Kerrville mainstage. Among the instruments he has mastered are trumpet, accordion. However, more often than not, he's being invited up on stage with others. This time, he'll be doing the inviting.
OUTSIDE STAGE Peter Nevland As we affectionately call him in the Austin Slam community, PITA! has taken his poems to a new level by turning them musical. He and his brother will be showing everyone else how i
Hail and Farewell Ohio Slide Trip!
My family lived in Columbus on Fraternity Row just off High Street for a year, and we had an uncle and cousins in Springfield we regularly visited. One cousin still lives in Cincy. Any one who can turn an Ohio road trip into performance Art is welcome to my Usual Suspects of Un-indicted Co-conspirators.
If my schedule allows it (waiting on exact shoot schedule for RTF film ) I plan on coming Friday night. Saturday night I already have a date with a Bunch of Idiots.
My blood runs Maize and Big Blue. Don’t hate me because half my family went to Ann Arbor.
The other half went to Penn and Chattanooga
Hello you! Thats right you the world of people out there who might be reading this. Art Outside would like to say thanks for caring! Now if you want things to change well, join a revolution...
We are looking for artists of all shapes and kinds.
After being at rehearsal, I can't wait to see the polished, exuberant show itself! WHoo-hoo for magical realism, theater, laughter, and nifty pictures!
