This myspace site tries to present you recent news about the Beatles&Sons in short style - I try to collect information about what's happening in the scene of the Beatles family the most compact way concentrating on their work. Included on the main site here are images of all new record, DVD and some selected book releases of and featuring the Beatles&Sons. Below are featured recent short promo videos or links to longer EPKs and more to give you quick impression (showing which songs and projects are promoted at this moment) as well as short news at one sight. 9 Albums by GEORGE HARRISON are now available on itunes - with some extra bonus tracks (5 extra tracks on "All Things Must Pass" plus EPK, "Flying Hour", "Got My Mind Set On You (Extended Version)", "Blow Away (demo) and "Learning How To Love You (early mix)". Who booed Yoko in the Eighties selling John's outtakes one by one...?+++THE BEATLES' film "Help! has been rereleased on DVD at the end of October at last - available as a standard DVD and an expensive deluxe edition. The film has been available in the US only years ago. Still no word about a release of the "Let It Be" DVD though...+++DHANI HARRISON will finally release his long-awaited first album of his band THENEWNO2 soon - it is called "You Are Here" which will feature performances by Bryony Atkinson on vocals Nick Fyffe on bass, Marc Mann on acoustic guitar and Tom Hammond ..o. The new Wu-Tang Clan album has released a Beatles cover. The seminal hip hop supergroup release "8 Diagrams", to be released this month, includes their take on The Fab Four's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", with Harrison's son appearing as guest star. DHANI HARRISON plays drums on the cover, which has been renamed "The Heart Gently Weeps".+++Dhani also guests on Rooney's album "Calling The World" and The Heart String Symphony's "Summer 2007 EP" and works on the thenewno2 album.+++JULIAN LENNON finishes his new album and prepared the worldwide release of his film "The Whaledreamers" - which took place in London in September. Meanwhile he is traveling making new contacts for his comeback next year - he is planning live concerts as well. He has promised to release his new single on his birthday next year.+++SEAN LENNON has returned on stage in February - again supporting his friend Rufus Wainwright in New York. In January he has been on stage with Yuka Honda and other friends. Sean will score his friends Jordan Galland's (from Dopo Yume) new indie vampire comedy "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Undead". He also wrote the music for the film "The Stranger" and a Japanese film called "The Tea Fight". Sean also participates on The Heavy Circles' (i.e. Eddie Brickell and her stepson Harper Simon) debut album as well as on Marianne Faitfull's upcoming album!! Thanks a lot, Sean!!+++He has been touring the US supporting Rufus Wainwright in August 2007 and says he will release another album soon. Meanwhile he seems to has retired bit and taken some time off, but is planning some different musical projects.
