Oh Romeo! Band Bio:
Oh Romeo! formed 2006 with every intention of being different, standing out and breaking the mold. In a scene where everyone tries to be the same as everyone else, Oh Romeo! set out to be free from the constraints of the obvious and the ordinary.
"When we started this band, we all wanted to do something to make kids say 'We want to sound like Oh Romeo!'. We never wanted to blend in or be the same..." says Cesar Pentzke vocalist for [Oh Romeo!]
Oh Romeo! has been dropping jaws and wowing people not only in Florida, but around the whole south east region for the past 2 years (Oh Romeo! has performed over 100 shows in 2008 alone). In the time they have spent on the road, not only has the band played with countless other signed artists, but they've also kept it real and have been known to get down on the local shows! "Ha, like that free church show middle of nowhere?" adds lead guitarist Rob Haskin. Oh Romeo! can really say they represent the Florida scene to the fullest.
In June of 2008, Oh Romeo! annconced that they will be working in affiliation with TAKEOVER RECORDS (Yellowcard, The Matches, Over it), a mile stone accomplishment for a band so hard at work! Presently, Oh Romeo! is about to release their debut E.P. "This is why we're here" digitally thru TAKEOVER RECORDS and also in Hot Topic stores all around the USA! (OR! t-shirts will also be available for purchase) With the release of the highly anticipated E.P.
