Here's one of Maize pulling my mom in her wheelchair into a wall - no worries. . .she laughed the whole way!!

My mom and dad. My mother has MS - she's been diagnosed for about 30 years now. She's the most stubborn woman that I know, but she hasn't let it take her spirit. And my father - well he's been with her through it all. He takes care of her. Gives her her meds, cooks the food, everything. When he said his vows he meant every word and I know he'll never leave her!
About me: Let's see - I'm a singer/dancer/actress and the last two years I have been living in the city full time. I live in Brooklyn - I've had an apartment in NYC for the last 7 years - though for 4 of those years I was only a part-time resident cause I worked on Holland America Line cruise ships. I love living in New York, but I also love getting away from time to time.
I have a dog - 150lbs English Mastiff named Maize that I love dearly. When I was out at sea he lived with my parents in North Carolina, but when I'm home he keeps me company in my apartment in BK. He's my body guard at night!
I'm an outdoors kinda girl - love to hike and camp...when the weather isn't freezing!!!
I guess that's a good overall for now!
You Are Ani Difranco!
Honest, real, and well liked.
You're not limited by any boundaries.
"And you can call me crazy
But I think you're as lazy as white paint on the wall"
Just got back from Washington, DC where I did A Chorus Line. It was a benefit performance for a school that I went to during high school. 90% of the original cast that did it 8 years ago came back - it was a GREAT reunion and I couldn't have imagined a better time! Here's some of the pics...
"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.
Who I'd like to meet: Janis Joplin, Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra - I would love to meet greats that have made it and ask them what they did - or just sit back and listen to the stories cause you know there's a lot.

Feeling pretty good, getting nervous but excited, too! I've had an easy time with it so far, really. You're too funny, calling the fam during your show! Hope you're having fun (Dud says you're really bulking up the resume, so yay!)
I only know for sure that I will be there on the 2nd. There will probably be more people around on the weekends. If I were you I would come down the 10th-11th. Since I know you'll be there I can plan to come over during that time, but I will probably be working during the week.
