"I don't know if I'm the first to post about this group/guy, but if I am then something's wrong in the blogosphere. People, listen up! This is good! The vocals, guitar... everything. Give it a try for yourself."
"I have no doubt that it won't be long before people recognize the talent you have. I really enjoyed listening to all three songs you posted on your site. Each track had all the elements of sublte beauty, and understatement that I love in music. It is the small things such as the creaking of the piano bench you include that I really love."
-Scott Ford of On the Speakers
And you can buy that very track that Scott Ford and many others like so much:
Oh Travioso creates songs live, piece by piece, layer by layer. Sometimes the compositions are thought out and planned. Sometimes they are completely improvisational. In either case, each performance is new and exciting, created solely for the audience present that evening.
Currently, he uses a laptop, a guitar, Ableton Live, Reason 3.0, a midi keyboard, and a bunch of pedals strapped to a Quija board. The plan was to create a rig that he could carry onto a plane, and take from city to city. He didn't want to be just another singer/songwriter, but rather, an artist that blurs the lines between indie rock and performance art.
