we're turning edgar allan poe into music. there's a long history of this sort of thing happening. the parsons project ws a record i had as a kid and did not like. tho i loved poe. phil ochs version of 'the bells' is fantastic. i heard lou reed did something. i never heard it.
'ello, got yer package yesterday. sad to hear the bad news. have not read it all yet. should i mail you something? or hold off if you are going out of town? chau.
We remember the great poet today, and drink some whiskey in honor of his passing on this day in 1849 (in Baltimore)
Hope you have a fantastic week – and thanks for bein’ a friend. FYI, the book is finally out (and the interview with Mr. Poe is quite fab, if I do say so myself)!
