the oil region indie music festival is a celebration of independent artistry, based in oil city pennsylvania. oil region indie demonstrates what can be accomplished outside the realm of commercial culture. All of the performers involved write songs that resonate, from a perspective that is unique, original, and reflective of the human experience in all its diversity.
The festival showcases the work of local singer/songwriters, and invites national artists to share the stage with them, creating a broader network of musicians, songwriters, and indie music fans.
