Hello mate, I've managed to book encyclopedia, the madisons, animal urges, the moose, the mild mays and a couple of others for dj slots this sunday. i want it to be bands doing dj sets, its shaping up to be a wicked night, i also spoke to george who seems well up for it; he's trying to get some tauntonians to pop along. would be cool to see the rickys spinning!
try and get down after work if you actually have to work.

nice one. andy doesnt finish uni until july 31st so we cant play any gigs until then, shame. glad to hear gig went well. see you when you break up. josh
I am in no doubt about the lyrical styles that would fit this track. One would be a fast poetic reading with a deep masculine well spoken voice. Similar to Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip. Another entirely different style would be an LTJ Bukem Logical Progression style female jungle vocal. Really spacy "oooh - yeeeaah yeah yeah" in a sexy passionate ballad style. Another one would be the distant sound of a powerful political speech. Just fading in now and again only to be lost in the background again. Like a preacher or a War leader. Another one would be a laid back French rap.
I didn't realise you were adding vocals. This may change the dynamics of the video!!!
Yeah mate thats cool! Im up for this friday anyway. Ahh uni is all good. Well ive got 3 weeks off for easter now. Ahhh good luck mate im sure you will be fine. Just play it real cool. See you on friday yeah? x
Alright matey. Hows life in the world of ollie wolf? Are we playing this gig at the orange box because isnt it EP presents thingy at Que Pasasasa? What a kerfuffle. Looking forward to some new tracks mate! Hope you're well. x
Woods are not doing gigs, I asked last night. But they are doing jam nights on Wednesdays so you could always do a few songs then. Also the Alex do Open Mic nights on Sunday evenings, I've been down to a few and they are pretty good. They let you play a full set if you wanted to and it's a real friendly vibe. It would be good practice I guess.
Liking the solo track, good stuff. The small organ parts sound good too. Did you record it at home? What programme did you use if so??
As for gigs mate, not really sure of many places that put gigs on in Yeovil other than the OB. The Alex may do and Woods Wine Bar, they would probably be the best places. I'm down Woods tonight so shall ask and let you know.
I may be looking to get out and do some solo stuff soon too so give me a shout if you do and we could maybe share a stage.
