Bo Nicole and Adam met in 2004, in San Francisco while looking to start a musical project. They got married that same year and have been writing songs together ever since. Ok 2 Cross' album Breathe documents the trials and tribulations of toughing it out in the city, life's struggles and journies, and the beauty of it all. They are both classically trained musicians, and have roots in heavier rock music. Their diverse backgrounds allow them to grow and evolve to make their music truly original.
Adam is the lead guitarist and vocalist. Born in LA and raised in San Diego, he has been a professional guitar teacher and studio musician since 2000, (practicemakesbetter.com), and has been composing since 1996. His musical training began in high school with private guitar lessons and music workshops. He then continued his musical education at Los Angeles' Musicians Institute, in the Guitar Institute of Technology Program. Adam has also studied music independently at Cal State Northridge, and Mesa College San Diego.
Bo Nicole sings lead vocals, plays the guitar, and bass guitar. She was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduated high school one year early, then moved to San Francisco to study at the Academy of Art University. She has been running her own Photography, Graphic & Web Design firm (designsbybo.com), since 2002. She started singing when she was just a kid, at home with her musician dad, in the church choir, and in the school chorus. From there she studied the piano, flute, guitar and bass guitar.
