OKANAGAN MOONDANCE vous attend avec sont système de son guérilla dans les montagnes des belles vallées du sud de l’Okanagan et de la Similkameen, en Colombie-Britannique. Nous vous offrons un mélange de paysages sonores psychédéliques et des rythmes tribal faits sur mesure pour le 21e siècle; tout ça au cœur des forets alpines de pins Ponderosa et les paysages du seul véritable désert au Canada. Venez camper, danser et partager rires et sagesses parmi les grands pins rouges!
Les co-fondateurs Félix & Mélissa on pendant de longues années fait partie de l’underground musical psychédélique Montréalais; pendant 13 ans, Mélissa a fait danser son esprit vers les niveaux de conscience altérés et a collaborée activement avec des organisations clés de la métropole; de son coté Félix a été impliqué dans l’organisation d’événements et a fait tourner des disques en tant que DJ Tribaldrummer depuis 1997.
Aujourd’hui, l’équipe compte dans ses rangs plusieurs nouveaux visages, des âmes complices qui joignent leurs forces pour vous fournir du super son, des arts visuels de toutes sortes, et des idées fraîches!

Cette année, Okanagan Moondance collabore avec Tetsuo et vise à inclure ses événements dans le cadre d’un futur écologique durable. De nouveaux concepts serons mis de l’avant pour aider la création de soirées laissant la plus faible trace possible sur l’écosystème local, de la toilette compostable jusqu’au recyclage. Des projections de films documentaires activistes et des levées de fonds pour des efforts comme ceux entrepris par la Sea Shepherd Conservation Society et le Desert Center d’Osoyoos mènerons le simple esprit festif vers un sens plus complet d’esprit de communauté et de responsabilité collective.

OKANAGAN MOONDANCE's guerrilla sound system is waiting for you in the mountains of beautiful South-Okanagan and Similkameen valleys in British-Columbia, Canada. We offer you psychedelic soundscapes and tribal rhythms for the 21st century in the heart of the ponderosa forests and desert surroundings of the region. Come to camp, dance and share laughs under the summer stars and among the giant red pine trees!
Co-founders Felix and Melissa where long-time active parts of Montreal's underground psychedelic music movement in the past years; Melissa has been involved for the last 13 years, dancing her way to altered states of consciousness and collaborating with key organizations; Felix has been involved in the organization of events and is DJing since 1997 has DJ Tribaldrummer.
Today, the crew is counting many new faces, kindred spirits joining forces to bring top-notch sound, visual arts and fresh ideas, if you feel you would like to share something with us for all please let us know by email.
This year Okanagan Moondance will collaborate with Tetsuo and will be aiming at making its events part of a sustainable future; new concepts will be put in practice to help create events with the smallest possible impact on the local ecosystem, from composting toilets to recycling bins and everything in between. Projection of activist documentary films and fundraising for efforts like the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and the Osoyoos Desert Center will bring the simple party spirit into a more evolved fiesta that brings a sense of community and responsibility among participants.
