Influences
70's prog and folk, 80's art pop, 90's indie... And a whole lot more. But we sound more prog than anything else I guess....
Sounds Like
God ol' homegroan prog with a dash of psyche, folk and indie.
Welcome to okasa's world. A world where concept albums and mellotrons graze alongside noisy guitars and digital sound destruction.
Okasa features members from Jaga Jazzist, White Willow, Wobbler, Ignore, Rhys Marsh and the Autumn Ghost, Last James, In The Country and many even more obscure bands.
Very soon we will post newer versions of the songs on this page. Be patient our friends....

Great songs and instrumentals! Progressive revival, indeed. Best wishes for the following Evolution of Okasa (which is also amazing and moving track!)Let all go nice with the upcoming album!
Hi Ketil... Life in france is very humide!!! i making progress on my album...21 songs...i'll finish tomorrow the instrumental versions...then, mix, voices and rhodes... Otherwise, regarding to your new mix, i prefer this one...it's less heroic and effective but more personal and finally, more catchy (especially on the chorus)...moreover, without reverb, we can listen more intruments and arrangements, which put into relief the differents passages of the song... i can't wait for december!!! see you chris

Da er jeg den andre - alltid vært svak for Kevin, og Waterworld er jo ren prog, ambisiøs og overmodig som den er. Og så profetisk - jeg mener, når Nordpolen smelter må jo vi få gjeller også. Kevin har teften, han.
