We are Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq), the largest and oldest LGBT rights organization in the state. OkEq seeks equal rights for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender individuals and families through advocacy, education, programs, alliances, and operation of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center.

We're located in the East Village in downtown Tulsa at 4th Street and Kenosha.

We really appreciate all the great services provided by the new center and look forward to continuing working together. When it came time to pick a venue to hold our 10th anniversary celebration the new Equality Center was the obvious choice.

I was just curious what the GLBT community in Oklahoma was going to do concerning the recent remarks made by Sally Kern. She has been heard now when will we? Why have we not met at the Oklahoma Capitol to let the Governor and House Speaker know that her speech can not be tolerated and that she should be reprimanded and if so needed to be removed from office.
