The proper use of a semicolon. Changing the world for the better. Autumn weather. Film. Theatre. Doing things the hard way. Foreign tongues (and, yes, that is a triple entendre).

Hakkımda: I'm an Assistant Professor in Creative Writing and Literature at Ohio Wesleyan University (forgive me for writing out the full title like a doofus -- I just got the job and am rolling around in the fact like a mangy dog). My nonfiction, poetry, short fiction, and translations have appeared in literary journals no one reads. I like theatre and film and write some of that stuff too. I'm from Argyle, Kentucky, and have lived in Mannheim, Germany, and Wroclaw, Poland, among other places. Oh, and I'm a great fan of bunny rabbits and monkeys. I can solve any problem when it comes down to fisticuffs; unfortunately, not every problem comes down to fisticuffs.

I just realized why there seem to be only three roads out of this town. They are hiding Chile from us. Chile is very close but just you try & find it from Ushuaia.
yes, that song is very nice. and i'm glad you enjoy my international indie mix. i wasted much valuable time that should have been spent on other endeavors to produce it.
but it's brought me hours of joy since, so it's not a total waste.
that photo was taken at the milestone--once called the CBGBs of the south. the graffiti you see is on pretty much every surface--bands like Dead Kennedys and Motorhead and Bad Brains and other really fucking famous punk bands--and it's all authentic. Nirvana played there, too. It's a pretty amazing place.
