"Operation America Rising" will be the largest support the troops rally in history. On 07-07-07, people will meet in the every State's capitol for fun, music, and speeches, to show their SUPPORT and APPRECIATION for the men and woman of the United States Military services.
ADMISSION IS FREE!
We are asking that those attending bring a "care package" item to drop off in the Soldiers Angel's donation box.(ex. toothbrushes, paste, magazines, crosswords, snacks, phone cards, hard candy, eye drops, etc...see blog for a complete list of suggestions)
Oklahoma Blood Institute will be doing a mobile blood drive.
Speakers and entertainers, face painting, moonwalk and other activities will be featured.

The rally is picnic-style, so those attending should bring their own food, refreshments and seating or blanket. No alcohol is permitted on the Capitol grounds.
Operation America Rising is an all-volunteer, nonpartisan organization dedicated to supplying morale-boosting support to military service members and their families. Lot's more in the works, so stay tuned!
