アジカンの招聘も記憶に新しいOZMA、INYA FACEからアルバムリリース直後のHoliday With Maggie、bad newsよりアルバムリリース＆来日もしたSEKIDEN、アルバムが超絶好調・ジャパンツアーも控えまさにコンピの象徴The Wellingtons！コメディーアンDave率いるValley Lodgeも注目のダンスチューンで参加。

The Powerpop Academy/Thistime Records launched 2 Power pop compilation albums with confidence and assurance.Japanese top bands invited OZMA and FOW to their show, Farrah wrote a song for a Japanese female singer, and Rivers Cuomo, a vocal in Weezer, moved to Japan. Yes! The trend is toward Japan! "What is Power pop?" No one asks that any more…
