Oktober are a hard-driving rock & roll band hailing from the searing streets of Phoenix, Arizona. Formed in October of 2001, Oktober quickly cut a path to the frontline of local music with nearly 75 shows in their first year. Rock and roll is strong in their roots, and with a sound that is part Guns N Roses, part Face to Face, part AC/DC and part Social Distortion, the band have hard-driving rock music with a pop-sensibility.
Since the bands inception, Oktober have been nominated for, and won several music awards, recorded two music videos, put out a 2002 E.P entitled Wasted Summer, played over 200 live shows, including Warped Tour 2003/2004, Edgefest 2003, regular stops in Hollywood and Las Vegas, had national radio airplay, local radio interviews & airplay, and have been a staple in the local Phoenix-area music community. The band have played shows with some of the biggest and the best, including Avenged Sevenfold, Rise Against, The Used, Face to Face, Bad Religion, Yellowcard, Story of The Year, Bullets N Octane, The Ataris, Guttermouth, Rancid, Chevelle and Authority Zero to name a few, and virtually any hard-working up-and-coming band in the Southwestern US.
Currently in their 5th year of existence, the band are poised to continue taking steps towards achieving their ultimate goal of success on a national and international level. Look for their long-awaited, masterfully produced album, Deal Hot Lead, to hit stores in the spring of 2007.
