Ola Gjeilo was born in Norway in 1978, and moved to New York in 2001 to study composition at the Juilliard School. He is the composer of�over�30 published works, which have sold more than 100.000 copies since 2007 and have been performed all around the world. Ola's debut recording as a pianist-composer, the lyrical crossover album Stone Rose, was released to critical acclaim in 2007 on the 2L label. Presently a full-time composer based in New York, NY, he is also an avid sports fan and movie buff. Ola's scores are distributed by Hal Leonard, and Stone Rose is available at amazon.com and iTunes. -
