    oldboy is a roots rock group whose music runs the gamut from wistful, to epic, to downright heavy rock and roll; imparting a sound that is as old as it is new. Continuing in their tradition of writing songs ranging from haunting to hopeful, oldboy has released their first full length "Covered in Sound" which has received rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Having already achieved a great deal of success in their first several years together, playing most of Cleveland's finest venues including The Beachland Ballroom, The Grog Shop and The House of Blues, there is reason to believe that the sky is the limit for this up and coming Midwestern band. ....     Hi Oldboy, You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. Transistors bridge where your vanity would never go. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes. So charmingly silky, your skin is like a teardrop on a popsickle. Please let me hear more of that wonderful sound. I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. Your tears evoke a taste as memorable as honey. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. Your sweet voice is like the application of aloe vera upon a sunburnt back.
