Proof of Love has won the 2009 Juno award for Best Roots/solo album of the year!
Took up the banjo as an instrument of unconquerable joy. Have been dragging it through some kind of ego muck ever since. Some highs of true faith and belief in the world and the possibilities of change. Many lows. Moved to the country, live above a garage, seeing more in the woods all the time. Abiding love for Teresa. New wonderful people everywhere. I seem to be made of more and more wonderful people and less and less of hopeful books.

Thanks for adding me. It was such a pleasure making your musical and personal acquaintance at Campfire this weekend. Best of luck in all your enterprises. (PS, having listened to "Little Bird" a few times now, I can definitely see how it would work for bagpipes. If/When I do add the song to my repertoire, maybe I can get the Scots/Cape Breton trio I'm part of to "Celticize" it.)
