About Old School

Old School includes uilleann piper Gary Burman, bodhran player Nora Parker and sometimes mandolin player Bruce Dean. Gary also plays penny whistles, low-D whistle, mandolin, mandola, guitar, and of course he sings. Nora is a competitive Irish dancer, and she's also a singer - her favorite style is sean-nos. Bruce is a folkie on his mandolin, but can go classical (or not!) on his cello. Gary also plays with Denver-based Skean Dubh, an awesome Scottish / Irish band.
