Having toured successfully as an acoustic mandolin/guitar duo, brothers Matt and John Beninghof performed at schools, festivals and mainstay venues across the country. Along the way they gained an enthusiastic fan base of all ages and shared the stage with the likes of Leon Russell, Soulive, The Slip, Gordon Stone, Sara Bareilles, Hot Buttered Rum, Ryan Montbleau, State Radio, and Naughty by Nature. With the addition of Sir Charles Parker Walton's drum/hair stylings the Old Silver Band continued their growth in sound and following. Their most recent release "Live From Glenmont" was the answer to fans who felt their debut EP lacked the energy and excitement they had come to expect from Old Silver shows.
