Movies
I LOVE MOVIES!!! alright, here's a list that will never end but i adore The Butterfly Effect, Beauty and the Beast, V for Vendetta, The Labyrinth, Fight Club, Atonement, Wag the Dog(politcal, not juvenile), Brother Bear, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thelma and Louise, and Saw (not the acting, but the concept. It gives me *chills*. I had to have someone walk me to my car!) There's so many more, but I guess this will have to suffice for now.
Books
To be submerged in a great piece of literature is to be born again in another world. To feel the blood lust behind the piercing eyes of one of Anne Rice's vampires. Or to be sarcastic and bitter in Catch-22. Maybe you find yourself in the place of a little boy who's seen more in one terrifying childhood then hundreds will seen in their entire life times, such as in Murphy's Boy. White Oleander can poison the mind as well as a lover with it's seducing literature. But I do believe my all time favorite novel is 1984. Careful, big brother is watching you. The destination of novel is predictable, the journey of a great piece is forever embedded in one's memory.
Heroes
I have many different heroes. The most recent addition would be a young man named Matt. He is my stomach's hero for bringing me breakfast foods during second period. Daniel is my hero for running over numerous construction cones. I also have a hero named Tony Bichler who quoted Napoleon Dynamite in his speech for competition. Jake my hero for wearing a purple sequened disco shirt, letting me slick his hair to the side, and being a disco king for Halloween (hehehe)! If you want to be added to this list, simply impress me. Come on, you can do it!
About me: There's a time in everyone’s life when they come to an end of a chapter. There's a page, blank in front of them, and a bottle of ink ready to spill across the pages. Here lies the dilemma... What to write, what profound thing can I record and document, proclaiming to be my life. What will come next that will further define me, shed light unto my inner most being. Should reference to old chapters be made, be brought back in to repeatedly batter the frail plot. Or should the past remain the past while this antagonist strikes out and holds life by the jugular. Playing with the tip of a serrated blade to rip as well as slice. Take from life what the savage desires, rebelling inside of me demand. But here I am... with a writer's block while my future waits to be unleashed at my will. What to write... What shape will the permanent ink take. And now I sit waiting for inspiration.
Do me a favor, when you gaze into the black velvet of the night sky and the first star shines on the path for the others to follow, give up one of your wishes for me. Wish that my writer's block will disappear, sribbling in a bit of euphoria, and let me continue on with the saga that is...my life.
