The much-anticipated emcee from Jackson, Mississippi; is destined to open the mind and grab the attention of those who insist that Mississippi can't produce any lyricists. Well, this artist/producer has his critics in for a big surprise.
Sippa is scheduled to release his self titled debut album in the spring of 2006. With joints like… “Oh Lord” and “Neva Alone” show the spiritual and conscious side, while he tells it like it is with the harder joints like “We Git it Crunk” produced by Lipsey, “Mutha!” produced by Ole Sipp himself, and “Where I'm From” produced by Rich Weber. Sippa is already predicted to be a classic.
Without any big name producers, the production on this album is still playing with some heavy hitters. The anthems, “Where I'm From” and “Hinds County” (produced by Ole Sipp for FVE, Inc.) will definitely keep your head knockin. The unique thing about this album is that the ladies will be equally pleased with the smooth joints like Impatient (produced by and featuring K. Lipsey for FVE, Inc.) Me, My Lady and I (produced by Rich Weber), and Sup Ma (produced by DJ Action for FVE, Inc.)…Through it all, Sippa showcases his storytelling abilities.
Setting the stage is just the beginning of Ole Sipp's debut release. He's ready to show the world his versatility and commitment as an artist and producer. With that said, his creative genius will definitely separate him from his peers. Even while battling a rare form of cancer, of which he was diagnosed in 2003, Sippa is doing all he can and proving that nothing is going stop him from fulfilling his dream of becoming a well known writer and producer… hence the production company name: FloSick!
