| General | My interests are of many. Crafting, Harley riding, swimming, dancing, creative projects. Canoe riding down the Hillsbourgh River, or any river.
To dance like no one is watching and if they are who cares....let the imagination dream the biggest dream and try for it.
Walking nature trails, taking a spur of the moment picnic in a local park, beach, or a hidden trail some where. Spontaneous things.....don't hesitate on taking a chance in life at times....for before one knows it, it is over and you may not have done one thing beyond the normal.....and then who is to say what is normal.
Meet fun spirited people who like to make changes in our society....to stand up and tell others to stop blaming everyone else for their actions......learn how to be responsible for self and actions.
Stop the insane law suits just to make a quick buck...stop teaching children that hatred, racism is a good thing when it is not.
To try to stop the fears of what is not understood. To accept a fellow human being for the good actions, deeds done. To give back teachers the right to teach instead of being terrified to teach. To have parents responsible for their children's actions and stop teaching a child the word "sue for everything". To give parents back their rights to be parents, and not be afraid of their children.
| | Music | Anything that makes me want to jump up and dance wherever I am.....to be able to understand the words, and if I am not able to understand the words to feel the beat of the music......not be afraid who is watching what I do while dancing.
My favorite band is my son's band based out of Ft.Lauderdale, Florida.....A New Level....

Movies that make one feel the character.....to make you want to be part of what is going on. Movies that help one see the challenges that can be over come. Movies that make one want to get up and dance while watching.

People who inspire that dreams can be done. People who have the most difficult disabilities yet find the ways around the obstacles. People who do not feel sorry for themselves but try to help others no matter what is going on in their own daily walk of life.
People who aren't afraid to stand up in front of others for a just cause no matter how painful the history in their story. To NOT be afraid of what is said about them, but be proud of what they have stood up for and battled for others.
Any disabled person who finds that they have acheived the smallest task.
DOUA. Disabled Online Users Association. WWW.DOUA.org. This is a group of people who without them I would have never become the success I was on eBay. This is a free program designed to help teach how to sell on eBay and other sites.
All volunteer's and we teach each other what we learn. DOUA is not about a hand out, but a helping hand up. Stop in and take a look at the success and what DOUA stands for.
My hero's are my friends....the men and women who have stood beside me through all the years of many sadness, triumph's, turmoil, and never once loosing faith in my abilities to over come all that has been put in my path.
No matter what has been said or done these women who know me better then I know myself....they are my hero's, my sisters in life for the past 10 years or however long it has been (time flies by when having fun).....Patrica M, Reenie P.
For the new sister's in my daily walk of life...sight unseen, yet heart's are just as one....who are a constant daily part of my world.....Laura, Shirley, Ona, who with their disabilities are the most creative, loving, gentle women one could be blessed to have in ones life.
To my dear Big Brother Michael....for without your wisdom, patience, understanding, uncondional caring....my hugs to you and may you soon find the triumph's you have battled so hard for.

I am simply Dinah.....I reside in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. A woman of many talents, creativity, disabled and yet try to let nothing stop me from learning something new each day.
Have 4 children, 2 grand children and soon a grandson. I am proud of all my children for what they stand for, what they believe in, and most of all for being themselves.
In a relationship for the past 38 years. It is what is it is, and the ride has been a journey to say the least. I have been loved like a woman should have been loved, I have loved like every woman should be able to love once in their life time.
Relationships are always changing, but one thing that never should change is honesty, loyalty, and be willing to take a risk in love, life, and take the smallest piece of happiness and embrace it for tomorrow it maybe gone.

Meet other persons with disabilities who find that they are not hampered/held back but find the abilities to go around the obstacles put in our daily walk of life.
I would like to meet other people who would be willing to help me learn, understand the concepts of this darn computer. Also find a person in the Tampa Bay area who would be willing to share the interests of eBay.
Go exploring all the historical sites in the Tampa Bay area.

Would love to meet local politicans to tell them to fight for the people with disabilities. To stop the insanity of taking away all the things that are needed for daily living and instead of feeding their fat wallets feed the people who are homeless for whatever reasons. To give a helping hand up, not holding back from dreams, possible acheivements.
To keep religion out of politics.....keep our Constitution the way it was written, and stop trying to make changes to the beautiful laws that it protects. To stop feeding hatred, discrimination, bigotry based on a persons color of skin, sexual orientation. To give homes to the children that have no homes, insurance to those that need it.
To give back to the people instead of taking from people.
I would like to one day be a spokes woman for the battered woman and children.....to say "wake up" stop protecting the people who abuse the children.....to say it is not easy to just walk away.....unless one has been in the shoes of a battered woman/child then one does not fully understand the insanities of this nightmare.>BR>
