Way too many to mention really as I'm influenced by everything and anything but here are a few of my musical influances anyway:

About Oli C

I started playing guitar when I was about 11 years old and I got my first cheap electric guitar, I had a few lessons but like most 11 year old kids I got bored and didn't really stick at it. At the age of 13 though I decided to pick it back up and haven't looked back since. I had about a years worth of lessons learning the basics from a great guitarist called Dan Clews but since then I've just been teaching myself, picking up tips and tricks here and there.

I joined a covers band at 14 so that I could put what I'd learned to practice and because I loved the idea of performing, the band ran for about 4 years untill we all left school, in that time we played about 70 shows infront of crowds of up to 400 people. I also started to write my own original songs at this point (a love affair that has continued to this day) but unfortunately we never played any live.

After leaving school I completed a degree in music production at ACM (Europe's leading contemporary music college) and set up a recording studio near Ashford to record my own projects and other local artists. I'm also a student at the University Of Kent In canterbury studying Business.

I'm currently producing and playing guitar in unsigned rock/indie band History Of The Trade (Check em out in my top friends) and I'm always writing new songs in a wide variety of styles and looking for new opportunities in the music world.

Phil Preece	Jan 5 2007 4:18 PM yeah all is well cheers mate. I got the guitar show tickets through today so that should be cool. All is well here i'm keeping very busy musically with teaching, writing, etc studio should be complete around march. I built an iso box for the Harlequin and two mic's it sounds lush. I also came up with a cool idea a few weeks ago aswell regarding a musical project that I'd like you to be involved in. Anyhow i can't speak about that two much here as the myspace walls have very big ears. Have a good 2007 mate, see you soon.
