Neo-Rembetika from Byron Bay, Australia The band was formed in 2006 adding the members to the core part of the band Themis and Kazz who had been performing range of rembetika together for years. Rembetika sometimes is explained as the Greek urban blues. Consequently, ours could be called Neo-Rembetika!!
Crossovered cultual backgrounds between the members and materials create some kinda comfortable friction.
After a long break, just retuning to the scene with new axe, Zan, on saxophone, April 1st, at the "Rails" in town.
