It's been a few years since the book, and I've picked up a few more hobbies. I've been fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling, flying to lots of places around the world and seeing what's out there. Of course I'm still on a budget, especially since the kids came along. I actually started a travel website, which I will plug shamelessly. If you're looking for cheap airfare on Jetblue or other airlines, check out InsanelyCheapFlights.com!

About me:
I'm a 25 year-old self-publishing writer and I joined myspace to share my short stories (check them out in the blog) and to get the word out about my new fantasy book, The Elder Staves.
It's not in stores, but you can help me change that by grabbing a copy on Amazon.com (It's already hit their bestseller list for fantasy, just need to keep it up for some of the big guys to take notice). Scroll down for some book info:
From the back cover:
"The sky-city of Tyr, floating above the frozen wasteland of a dead world, is a place of spells and skyscrapers, where the ruling council of elders struggles to maintain its power against the growing influence of technology. A clandestine rebellion is underway, assassinating nobles and threatening to topple the Council entirely, while far beneath the city a haunting, malevolent presence from Tyr's mystical past silently gathers strength.
But a far more pressing issue is at hand - for the first time since its founding millennia ago, Tyr has begun falling toward the surface."
Some of the early reviews:
"This work deserves a look, there is a
lot to like here..."
- FantasyBookSpot.com
"I am impressed with the raw talent that [Oliverez] has for telling a story... I enjoyed a change of pace from the normal Dungeons and Dragons fantasy."
- Neil Clarkson
"With the plot of opposites, vivid
character description and haunting metaphors, The Elder Staves gets a 4 out of 5
stars."
