Jimmy Rogers,Otis Rush,Rev.Gary Davis,Charlie Patton,Blind Lemon Jefferson,Son House, Memphis Slim,Brownie McGee,John Hurt,Robert Johnson, Blind Willie Johnson, Barbecue Bob, Skip James, Tommy Johnson, Kokomo Arnold, Leadbelly, Lonnie Johnson, Lightnin' Hopkins, just to name a few.....It's a real treasure,they left us; they have an honesty and dignity/humanity in their music, that is hard to find these days.. Too many people nowadays are eager to please and want to ride on this or that wave, instead of being true to themselves and individual(somehow, the music ,I'm listening to ,is like a friend to me - a friend,that talks back - so that way it becomes inspirational and true ...Mhh.. and I also like Donny Hathaway,Ray Charles,Stevie Wonder,Otis Redding,Sly and the Family Stone,Joe Strummer,Ronnie Lane(Everybody should take a listen to the album"Rough Mix"..),The Band,Dylan,Joni,the Who,Dr.John,Leon Russell,Edgar and Jonny Winter,Eva Cassidy,Jaco,Wes Montgomery,Joe Pass,Coco Schumann,Brian Wilson,..Oh boy,it's a never ending story(there are so many)..it goes on and on,hopefully forever:-)

As a child I lived near a big slaughterhouse and watched the stray dogs, while they had their disagreements about the leftover offals.I’ve always had a distinctive sence of justice and every now and then I was trying to take some meat away from the big dogs in order to feed the smaller ones .One day I tried to take away a 19 feet long bowel from two greedy, mean looking dogs and the bowel was tautened between the dogs chops.Founded in the fact ,that the surface of the bowel was still wet and slick , my hand slipped off and put the bowel to vibration."My first tone ..Jesus!" Now I have to admit ,that the tone ,which came out of the chops , was rather quiet , but quite fast l realized the endless opportunities of a tautened bowel.
Countless experiments with dog, bowel and microphone were bound to follow.Some years later I was told, that there were Instruments, which had nearly the same effect, compared to what I wanted to archive.Pretty soon,I got me such a thing..’n I’m happy eversince..

Bereits mit elf Jahren begann der in Marienhafe geborene Musiker Oliver Jüchems sich autodidaktisch das Gitarrespielen beizubringen. Und schon drei Jahre später stand er mit 14 das erste Mal bei einem öffentlichen Auftritt auf der Bühne.
Seither hat er an vielen Band- und Studioprojekten in Hamburg, Kiel, Münster und natürlich in seiner Heimat Ostfriesland mitgewirkt, die ihn auf seine jetzige Karriere als erfolgreicher Solomusiker vorbereitete.
Inspiriert durch Musiker wie Eric Clapton, Ray Charles, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway,Otis Redding und vielen anderen hat es besonders der soulorientierte Blues dem Gitarristen angetan, der durch seine markante, leicht heisere Stimme gut rüberkommt.
