Hi Tom, two shows to get you and all your fine friends stoked this December - Catherine Feeny on December 4th (free gig at the Green Dragon) and the annual Christmas party on december 20th with the Urban Voodoo Machine and friends. This should be the wildest yet. All the best, Richard
thanks for your kind words! As for the trees I really try my best to preserve the big trees as well as the rare varieties. I got best results with british apples, they seem pretty ideal for our climate here. Perry is almost unknown in our area, there was one produce years ago but this has taken from the market as the therefor needed pearvariety no longer existed. Your site is very interesting to me, also because of your activities aside the cidermaking :-) - by the way , I am using almost the same press !
this is a great site and I hope to taste your products one day! Please take a look at my photo section and you get about an impression of what I am doing here ( including producing lots of single variety sweet ciders ) so all I can say at the moment is : cheers to the man and hails to the trees!
Guys, Congratulations on your awards earlier this week at the International Cider & Perry Competition 2009 (@ the Cider Museum, Hereford). FIRST place for: In-Bottle Fermented Cider or Perry & SECOND place for: Single Variety Cider (the one cider judged better than yours in this class went on to be the Overall Champion!).
Hi Tom/Oliver's Cider and Perry, thanks for getting in touch. A cider maker and a Hem fan (I love "Eveningland") how could I not add you to our friends. Cheers for now, Tim (Blind River Scare).
By some miracle we have found a derelict orchard full of pear trees! Not sure if they're going to be Perry pears yet but maybe the blossom will give us some clues?
How wonderful to find you through my favorite radio station - great interview on NPR's 'All Things Considered'!! If I manage to visit England, I hope to imbibe your fine perry in your new tasting rooms.
Cheers! ~ Elizabeth Seattle

I have been down in Devon drinking cider all weekend so most appropriate to now have you as a friend. I'll pop in for a sample of cider and perry the next time I'm down your way.
Hope all lovely with you - how mad is all this Procs stuff?!?
