Ollie Bates a.k.a Illustrate has been rapping, producing, scratching and has basically been Hip Hop personified - since, his early teens, while living in High Wycombe (South Bucks).
It was there where he honed his craft and developed his talents as a music artist by producing demos and receiving feedback from friends and relatives.
Since then, his obvious flare and passion for creating music has developed incredibly and given rise to a series of critically acclaimed projects.
He has featured on various Headcount Records compilations, won various freestyle battles, supported the likes of Skinnyman & Phi Life Cypher at shows, released his own solo EP “Bedroom Production” and mix CD “Get the Picture” (via Escape Route Music) and has now finished his debut album entitled “The Stuff” which is available to buy NOW from www.headcountrecords.co.uk
