Olly said ‘We didn’t follow a trend or style. We weren’t interested in
following suit we just wanted to strip the music back and create a true
honest sound. I think we succeeded in doing that.
My name is Olly Hite, I am singer-songwriter who when on stage incorporates strings and piano to capture the emotion in the lyrics of my songs.
I started to play the piano at the age of nine and had lessons by a cigar smoking elderly lady. After a while she refused to teach me because all I would do was make up my own music. She suggested I should follow my passion to create, not to read music.
In 2004 I composed and sang a title track called Ordinary Monday for a film by Mark Hambilton. The film was called The Warning, Simon Elms and Colin Smith at Amber Music, and Bob Birthwright at Stanbridge Farm Studios produced the track. Bob and I soon struck a chord and started work on his solo debut album (IN EVERYONE).
This recording has taken three years to make, Stanbridge farm studios boasts a clientele list of acts such as Ozzy Osbourne, The Cure, Bjork, Take That, Duran Duran and AC- DC, To name a few. The Darkness and Razorlight were using the studio alongside me
whilst I was recording mt record. so I feel very privileged.
I didn’t follow a trend or style. We weren’t interested in following suit we just wanted to strip the music back and create a true honest sound. I think we succeeded in doing that. Shelley Payne has scored all the string arrangements, She is an amazing talent.
I hope you enjoy what you hear and look forward to welcoming you to one of my gigs very soon
Btw, have you heard of Xocai chocolate?! It's a healthy chocolate that is Pure, Unadulterated, Unproccessed, Unalkalized Cold pressed, and FULL of taste.
Celebrities like Larry King, Oprah Winfrey and Wally Joyner are eating Xocai. Marie Osmond is the latest addition to the team. She's eating and now even selling Xocai. She lost weight with it and loves it. She's promoted it to everyone recently while on "Dancing with the Stars".
Acai was described on The Today Show and called on the Oprah Show "the #1 Food for Age Defying Beauty"

Here's posted my new poem:"MANKIND" Kind of a critical view of humanity I guess that after so many years of evolution we could be a lot better than we are. We got the capacity to think, to invent, to achieve a new kind of way to relate with our world. But we're still the same "primitive creature", but with a bigger and best weapon in our "opponable thumb" hand. The evolution has increased a lot our knowledge, our technology, our comfort. But not increased so much our wisdom. Our development is causing the extinction of animals & plant species. Even the extinction of human beings. We're pillaging everything. Maybe nothing will remain. The rest of the animals are superior than us, because the simple reason that their activities doesn't destroy their own world. We're at this time a suicidal & murder specie. kind of the "cancer disease" of the world that created us. Bad cells that grows until they consume the entire body. We must stop now. Do you agree?
Well, I hope you like it. Feedback will be highly appreciated.
