Interests

  • General

I enjoy walking and mild exercising to try and stay in decent shape, playing basketball on occasion, watching football, especially Alabama football and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and reading the Bible, which I hope I am learning and remembering more each day.
  • Music

Favorite Types: Real country, not the crap like Taylor Swift or music you can remix to play in a dance club. I like good old classic Rock, and I do admire artists that actually write and play their own music, not clowns like P-Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puff Diddy Doody Woody, or whoever he is that does nothing but sample songs. Favorite Artists: Dwight Yoakam, Alabama, Gwen Stephani, Fergie, Lenny Kravitz, even some AC/DC, Metallica, ZZ Top

  • Movies

Top Ten Favorites: 1) The Shawshank Redemption 2) The Green Mile 3) SlingBlade 4) Reservoir Dogs 5) Pulp Fiction 6) Star Wars Movies 7) A Few Good Men 8) Office Space 9) The Nutty Professor 10) One Hour Photo
  • Television

Top Five Favorites: 1) The Andy Griffith Show 2) The Cosby Show 3) Roseanne 4) The Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire 5) Seinfeld
  • Books

I must confess, I do not read a whole lot beside the Bible, but a few favorites from High School and college are: 1) 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell 2) Huck Finn 3) The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck 4) The Scarlett Letter 5) Short Stories by Poe like Tell-Tale Heart, Masque of the Red Death, etc.
  • Heroes

    1) Jesus- He died and rose for us, yet he would have done it just for me 2) Bear Bryant- Winner, leader, teacher, knew when to change (wishbone in 1970's), yet kept his values intact These here are not really heroes, but people I admire: 3) Dolly Parton: Came from nothing yet made it big, but is still humble 4) Dr Daniel Pound: One of my political science teachers who could argue the sun is cold and by the end of his argument I would believe him 5) Anyone who can fix things with their hands without breaking them (a fixer I am not)

Ugh, thanks so much for your kind words, it just really really sucks! I had to have a 555 to pass and I made a 550!

After a 14 point loss to a 10-6 Auburn team, I don't think anyone should need any more proof!
  • Jan 14 2009 6:32 PM

Me either. It was to unrealistic for a true story. And the ending stunk cause you still have no clue what happened.
  • Jan 13 2009 1:47 PM

    hello! i c u watched the strangers-were u as disappointed as i was?
  • Jan 3 2009 4:05 PM

i would agree. I think losing Andre kinda destroyed their focus and they just never recovered. The defense looked completely clueless.

Muschamp was probably my top choice. Maybe Turner Gill, but he's not really familiar with this area. After that, the other candidates have pretty much made me say, Yuck.
  • Dec 10 2008 6:53 PM

I think it's become painfully obvious that they had no plan going into this. I mean, they are interviewing Rodney Garner,Brady Hoake, and Patrick Nix, for crying out loud. Maybe we should hire Romeo Crennell.
  • Dec 7 2008 2:14 PM

Yeah, I agree. He was just amazing yesterday. It stinks that they're gonna have to play Utah, though.
Why does the SEC keep having to play these Wac and MWC teams and blow them out in the Sugar Bowl? I hate the BCS!
  • Dec 7 2008 5:18 AM

Well, I guess Florida just had the best player on the field. Tebow saved his best performance of his career for that game. And the offensive playcalling in the 4th quarter was terrible. They should've run the ball more.

You are welcome. It was great to see you.
  • Dec 1 2008 10:18 PM

Nooooo kiddin'!! What a fantastic whoopin' to watch though! What do you think about Croom resigning??
  • Dec 1 2008 6:19 PM

Yeah, no problem. I enjoyed it, well, except for the 36-0 pasting you guys put on us. It's just one of those years for us, and hopefully it will be better next year. You guys aren't getting much respect against the Gators this week, but that might be a good thing. They do have a tendency to get a little full of themselves sometimes.

I'm glad Auburn beat UT Martin but that's probably it for wins for Tommy's Tigers this year. I don't think they'll beat Georgia and Bama will probably snap their Iron Bowl streak. If Bama wins out the regular season I'd like to see them go all the way.

  • Oct 26 2008 2:28 PM

lol... i like your comment about Phil's early retirement! lol.
they sure had a better 2cd half if it weren't for the flags!
  • Oct 24 2008 2:06 PM

Yeah, I think this team has quit, too. Did you see all of the pathetic arm tackles last night? I'm not sure anyone up there knows what the heck they're doing anymore.
  • Oct 24 2008 3:09 AM

Well, the dam busted. I think it's pretty obvious these guys have quit on the season, and I think Tubby is on his way out.
  • Oct 23 2008 10:00 PM

I'm going with Auburn to get the offense rolling tonight. I think we could get over 275 yards of offense tonight and get a hard fought 13-12 win.
