hi Olympic Smoker, i want to share with you this one :) hope all is well for you! peace!
Syndrôm's first release on the Section 27 label and it's a precious
gem. Anyone who is familiar with his work may know him for his
downtempo sounds or like this, his more frantic work.
Having recently released a track on the very excellent Bypass label
compilation featuring other great artists, as well as managing the
Pavillon36 netlabel, he delivers again with this sweet 4 track EP full
of twisted breakbeats, chunky basslines, dark synth stabs and doesn't
leave out the experimentation.
With a 25 minute running time, we are proud to present this slice of
beauty with a cold heart. As always, headphones, low lights, and strap
in. This is some dark drum and bass madness.
Berlin-based producer Robot Koch is a busy man. Between producing and touring with electronic mash-up trio Jahcoozi, the man-machine recently launched his own label, Robots Don't Sleep, with the release of Aftershocks, a collaboration with Japan-based musician Cerebral Vortex.
Robot Koch's productions have been released on a variety of labels including Ninja Tune, Up My Alley, Kitty-Yo and Sugarcane. These two tracks are a welcome injection of hip hop that Planet Terror has been begging for since day one.
1. Hex (6:05) 2. Defcom 101 (4:05) 3. Idiom ft. Cellar Dweller (4:14) 4. While Walking (2:21) 5. Lantern Song (5:49) 6. Blizzard (6:15) 7. Serenity (3:58) 8. Margeurite En Larmes (4.06)
Details:
Anagramm is a new addition to the Planet Terror roster and not one to be taken lightly. Be ready for crazed dubby IDM, dubstep, neo-classical glitches and spoken word courtesy of Sheffield poet Joe Kriss. Weird and wonderful.
hi olympic smoker, thanks for the add! "pavillon36" is my own netlabel (Syndrôm who release "les sombres parfums" on bypass label)... hope you like our music, see you friend!
hey Olympic Smoker, you're welcome :) your music is very nice! next week i will release an EP on bypass, i hope you will download it! check also my new netlabel here:
Phillip's latest release, Incidents in Spring, was created by mixing microsounds and glitches into ambient sound collages and drones, sometimes letting them slowly morph into subtle beats or even completely different songs.
