About Omar Dean

I'm a full time Masters student in London and whenever I get the chance, I like to play London's live gigs/open mics circuit. I was recently named the Winner by the Song of the Year ( http://www.songoftheyear.com/ ) songwriting contest for the Folk Category for my song "A Little Longer", which earned the "#1 rated song" ranking in December's competition. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1’s Save the Music Foundation and its judges include some really big names in music, including several Grammy Award winners. Yay for me.
