WaveScape is the stage-name of Canadian-based Australian singer/songwriter/keyboardist/guitarist Omeed Taheri who wrote his first single 'Liquid Sky' with Andre Zharkov of Megadance Productions and subsequently had the single released on Zharkov's independent label Megadance in May 2008, where it reached 1 on the Soundclick charts only 2 days after it was released. 'Liquid Sky' was made available for download through all major digital stores.
The single, being in the classic progressive/trance style was followed up with an acoustic version, with WaveScape and Zharkov both on guitar. This version was never released but was used in the accompanying video for the track, which was filmed in Vancouver in July 2008 and released in October. A live version of the track was filmed in Calgary in November.
The interest around 'Liquid Sky' and WaveScape resulted in various collaboration offers, one of which, with Spain's Iris Dee Jay, resulted in the release of the single' A Better World' in April 2009 exclusively through Future Shock Records, and for general release through all major digital stores the following month. The single also contained a remix by France/UK duo DJ Deraven and D Gate.
WaveScape is currently working on other projects with Iris, plus other producers in Spain, Germany, and The Netherlands. His voice can be heard on jingles for the weekly radio show 'Sunset to Sunrise Sessions' hosted by Holland's Setrise.
The latest collaboration is with Germany's DJ T.H on the single 'Final Emotion' which is due for release through I.M Red Trance Digital on all major digital stores on 10 September.

I’m stopping by to present my new remix of the storming tune ‘Dusk Till Dirt’, made by the UK duo Mac & Taylor (www. myspace. com/macandtaylor) Honestly, I think their original version is much better than my work but, as I always say, this is just a matter of taste. Their track is a hard trance master piece (in my opinion). Mine is a melodic one.
