Omega66 was formed in June 2006 from the ashes of Dark Chunk who played the dance tent, Glastonbury 2004 and released two E.P'S and the album "The Multi Speed Stimulator".
Krik, used his home pc, synths, guitar, bass and raw lungs to make some new tracks.
Omega66 has taken on many forms but is now Krik, who is working with different vocalists and collaborators from his home studio. So far tracks have been played on Radio 1, Radio 6, kiss FM, Galaxy 101, Radio Wales and more.
In 2007 he recorded his debut album “Essential Fatty Acid”.
The first track on the album “Fall in Situation” has been remixed by producers Angel Farringdon and Angel De-lux. It was played as a world wide exclusive on Annie Nightingales Radio 1 show. Radio 1, Kiss Fm, galaxy 101, 102, 105 and many other well known DJ’s have been playing this and the original track.
As a band Omega66 have played numerous gigs and festivals around the U.K. and have supported “Unkle Jam”, “The Egg” and “Subsource”.
At present Omega66 is a studio project, concentration on releasing diverse music, collaborating with a range of vocalists.
At present krik is working with Sally Thomas, you can hear our work above.
Omega66 will be live again Spring 2010. A new live line up will be jamming as from November 2009. Meanwhile sit back and enjoy the contsant flow of songs on this page.
Music on the horizon includes tracks with Chris Sweetman, Bhangra Artist Tommy Singh, vocalist Mia, Dionne Bennett, more tracks with Angel Farringdon for Bermuda Triangle Records and with Sally Thomas, amoungst film scores for Sparkle Productions, ITV Wales and live performances.
