Music (I like instrumental, movie and game-theme type, some country, some bluegrass, some old rock)
Reading, sunsets and sunrises, deer, listening to the frogs and crickets, watching the stars, hearing the kids down the valley laugh and the echoes it sends up my way, discovering new things on the Internet ... I'm open!
WRITING: I've been a writer since I was a little kid. When I quit college, I went to work for the local daily newspaper in Pratt, KS and fell in love with journalism, having written thousands of articles for newspapers and magazines, ghost-wrote a Jesse Owens bio, and even won a few investigative journalism awards along the way. My "stuff" has been translated on the Internet into at least seven languages - 6 more than I can read. (Of course, that and $5 gets you a cup of Starbucks, right!?)
Favorite topics include history, politics, conspiracy & cover-ups, spiritual matters, relationships, science, ancient-advanced health techniques, and the "real" X-Files of our planet.
I'm working on a few books: The Creation Healing Code - the use of frequency (sound, color, music, light, ELF, etc.) to heal our bodies and planets, from puriufying water to curing AIDS and cancer. I think our universe was created by this principle (quantum physics actually) when "God said "Let there be light." Ever heard of what happens to sound at the 29th harmonic? The Real Story of Terri Schiavo and Euthenasia - It's worse than you think! Behind the Gemstone Files - This has been made into many movies (Conspiracy Theory, Diamonds Are Forever, The Rock with Sean Connery (he was a Brit in Alcatraz). But the real story has never been told.
SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY: I was one of those nerdy kids (called "eggheads" back then) who was working on rockets and satellites when the other guys in high school were tinkering with hotrods and the school cheerleaders. At 16 I designed a spy satellite called OBSAT and was immediately transformed into a celebrity of sorts in the engineering world - International Science Fair finalist in 1963, awards from Army, Navy, Air Force, NASA and NSF. The work was sponsored by Boeing and Western Electric. Not bad for a kid from Kansas - but again, that and $5 ....
I first got into computers in 1963 at the Univ. of Kansas, but my first ever computer was a TS-1000 for those of you old enough to remember. Then came Commodore VIC and 64, the XT, Mac Plus, SE, etc., etc. I now have several Macs and PCs (Intel). I love to design websites, ebooks and write novels.
MUSIC: I play keyboards and some guitar and have put out maybe seven albums, instrumental stuff that sounds like movie themes, game music or tech-trance. I don't do it as much anymore because of the need to make a living - but music is a big, big part of my life!
POLITICAL ACTIVISM: Again, not as much as I used to, but I am very concerned and aware of what's going on. The real story behind 9-11 and oil and the way America has run roughshod over so much of the world. Prophecy - from ALL religions. I worked for Bobby Kennedy's presidential campaign as a lowest of the low volunteers til the day he was assassinated, then took over Eugene McCarthy's Illinois presidential campaign (interesting story behind my US Supreme Court victory over Richard Daley's corrupt Chicago machine), then in 1980 was Davidson County (Nashville) co-chairman of the John Anderson presidential campaign. I worked unofficially for Henry Gonzalez, chairman of the House Select Committee on Assassinations until he had a contract put out on his head and his car got blown up. Want to know who really killed JFK? My job was to find out the connections between Dallas and the Watergate burglary team. Whew! What an experience!
If they allow it, I'd like to post some photos and documents to prove some of this, since I know it must sound like an outrageous exaggaration.
Oh, and I also produced, wrote and hosted an hour-long TV documentary called the Omega Report on TV for 8 years - things like the real X-files, predicting the OK bombing two weeks before it happened, the Fall of the Berlin Wall (in our newsletter, not the TV show) two years before that happened. Bunch of weird and exciting stuff. If I die tomorrow, I've seen and done more than most people do in a lot longer lifetime.
And I feel it's for a purpose - a mission God has me on that is still sometimes ill-defined to me. But I'm here and this is my life. "Some people see the way things are and ask why ....
"Others see the way things could be and ask why not.
- favorite quote from Robert F. Kennedy
Music
Long, long list I'll have to add to from time to time:
Sarah McLachlan, Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, Pink Floyd, Allan Parsons Project, U2, Dolly Parton, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, Neville Brothers ....
Movies
Lots of movies, so I'll have to add to them as I think of them:
Lord of the Rings (all), Star Wars (some), Star Trek (some), Driving Miss Daisy, War of the Worlds (old classic), Harry Potter series, Second Hand Lion, more to come.
Television
Lately, CSI: Ls Vegas, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Cold Case, Numbers, Ghost Whisperer, Stark.
Books
Just finishing the Harry Potter series on audio - after The Dark Tower by Stephen King (the ending sorta sucks!). I like Tom Clancy type stuff - politics, international intrigue, tho Clancy himself gets a bit bogged down in detail sometimes; Dan Brown - DaVince Code, et al.
I also read a lot of nonfiction for research (history, politics, spiritual-religious, current affairs, etc.)
Heroes
Jesus of Nazareth, Kahlil Gibran, Thomas Paine, Robert F. Kennedy, Barry Goldwater, more to come later.
Tennessee Technology Center At Nashville
Nashville,Tennessee
Graduated: 1981
Student status: Alumni
Degree: Other
Major: accounting, computer science
Clubs: It used to be called Nashville Area Vocational-Technical School, so I don't know if this is the same one.
medical, technical, scientific, geopolitical, health, self-help, conspiracy, history, and much more. Published in 7 languages with hundreds of credits.
About me: I'm just a toothless old fart who can't get it up anymore!!
Seriously ..... I'm a writer, sometime musician and Scribe of the Ages. Grew up in Kansas, ran away from home at 16 and lived undiscovered under the football bleachers and in the school basement for months and months.
This is one WEIRD dude! Or so I've been told.
Built spy satellites (OBSAT) in high school (before there were such things as computers) ... yeah, we were called "eggheads" then, not nerds.
Went to Univ. of Kansas on a 4-year-scholarship (aerospace engineering) but instead discovered music and dark German beer. Dropped out and joined the anti-Castro underground (Cuban Student Directorate). I didn't know til years later it was a CIA spook outfit.
Went back to school to major in journalism. Quit to join the AF but ended up in Chicago running the Eugene McCarthy presidential campaign, fighting the corrupt politics of Mayor Richard Daley and the Vietnam War ... and trying to discover who really killed Kennedy.
Got into all sorts of trouble exposing the Chicago mob. With a contract on my head, I had to flee to Alabama and then Tennessee where I started up a weekly newspaper and discovered Chicago journalism can get you killed quicker in redneck country than in Chicago! Went to jail for 3 months for "publishing a newspaper on Sunday."
But I lived through it. Morris Heithcock didn't. He was a deputy sheriff murdered on his way to my house one night for trying to expose a crooked sheriff and his drug and burglary rings. Got blown away up close and dirty with a shotgun - by another cop, according to a kid who says he witnessed it. But somebody else went to the slammer for it.
So what the hell - I worked the usual dead-end jobs and hosted a one-hour TV documentary for 8 years -The Omega Report. Got taken off the air for exposing the truth behind Tim McVeigh and the OKC bombing. Too bad. The whole Community Access TV station then got shut down itself for booze and drugs and a bunch of other corruption. Turns out the mayor of Nashville was one of my loyal viewers. When we went back on the air, so did the station. ;-)
I design websites and write ebooks and make music.
I live in a cabin in the country on the edge of the woods at the top of a beautiful valley (when I'm not in Old Hickory). Quite secluded and, yes, primitive. But I love it!!!
Some military analysts say the real reason for the airlines shutdown is because a spy satellite detected a nuclear device on an unidentified MD-80 plane in Houston.
While this song was Billy Ray Cyrus' first hit, it also brought him a lot of grief - permanently branding him as a teeny-bopper country star with sex appeal but no talent.
The truth is, Cyrus has cranked out some serious music over the years that deserves a better rap than he's received!
Who I'd like to meet: I am happily married, living in Old HIckory, TN temporarily.
Well I went over there and looked... holy jumpin' jehosaphat! Yep, you were right on. Wowsers!! Buzz me when you get some free time, please! Hope everything's okay in your world!!
