Joe Meade of Omega Sevyn, a preacher's son, started singing as a young child in church and later with his families' Gospel group "The Joe Meade Family Singers" (father's name is Joe Meade also). As a child he toured California occasionally with his family and a gospel quartet called "The Regents." Joe also started playing drums for the family band. When Joe was approximately 18 he formed a secular band called "Synthetic Black" in Lakewood, California in 1987 with keyboardist Jeff Reed. Transformed into a Christian band called "Omega Seven" in Spirit Lake, Iowa in 1999. Band was split up later in 1999. Joe Meade started the band again in early 2007. Name of band was changed to "Omega Sevyn" in 2007 for uniqueness. Now located in Los Angeles, California. Joe Meade is currently the only member of Omega Sevyn. Joe writes the lyrics, creates the music, performs the music and vocals, programs the music and rhythm, and produces the tracks in full.
